Startups Inc 09-18-08 Lately there seems to be a lot of focus in my work for startups ,people that have a dollar(or two) and a dream. Very courageous.On the train this morning i rewatched one of my fave documentaries called Startup.com, it follows the story of two friend and the ups and downs of staqrting something from nothing. unfortunately they end up with nothing due to their aggressive fundrasing with companies that get their money from the same 9 wells that everyone else does at first i thought they had a real shot at going all the way, but when they fired the "brains" of the outfit, things started to go down in flames. but the reason i bring that up is that it reminds me of the startups today , the Web 2.0 companies vying for VC affection. some dont really have the goal to go public, however i think it may very well head that way.

Linq,Zune, and JobsXL 09-04-08 It's official. im addicted to LINQ, im more surprised that its so similar to amazons simple DB. anyway i think ive just invented a codebase that i will try to use on my next Project(s) Also in good news, I finally got a Zune (2.5 to be exact), then i find out that MS is building a better zune marketplace to compete with Apple. Then they discontinue them at wal-mart, etc on account that they are building a 3.0 device. JobsXL is going well , Taking my time on this codebase, on account of actually going to merchandise it to sell to ailing job sites, agencies etc. if youd like to see the shiny web 2.0 logo ,head over to JobsXL. Like i said , this codebase will introduce not only LINQ but Silverlight as well utilizing Silverlight Streaming Services API

Bkups 07-28-2008 Okay, it about time that i talk about what projects ive been doing the past few weeks.
